Scientific articles

  1. Relevant, original and novel contribution in the field of Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics.
    1. Length: Maximum 8 pages.

Summary of projects

    2. Language: English or Spanish.

Demos

  1. Description of systems or tools related to the PLN field.
    1. Length: Maximum 4 pages.
    2. Language: English or Spanish.

Format

The submitted papers must fit the following guidelines:

  • The maximum length allowed for contributions is 8 pages DIN A4 (210 x 297 mm.), including referencies and illustrations.
  • Since the review process follows a double-blind approach, author’s names cannot appear in submitted papers, and references to author’s papers must be anonymised.
  • Papers can be written in English or Spanish. The title, abstract and keywords must be written in both languages.
  • The title, abstract and keywords must be written in the main language of the paper.
  • If using latex template, it is mandatory to use the package “sepln” if the language of the paper is spanish, but if language is english, use the package “sepln_en”.
  • Table and figure legends have to be placed under the corresponding object, and will not be closed by period and followed.
  • Acknowledgements will be presented as an unnumbered section just before the bibliography section.
  • The format will be Word or LaTeX.

In order for communications on R+D projects to be accepted, the following information must be included:

  1. Title of the project.
  2. Author’s name, affiliation, address, e-mail and telephone number.
  3. Funding Institutions.
  4. Research groups participating in the project.
  5. Abstract in English and Spanish (maximum 150 words) and a list of key words.
  6. Maximum length: 4 pages (including references).
  7. Select “Projects and Demos” as the main topic.

Demos

Regarding demonstration paper descriptions, the following information must be included:

  1. Title of the demo.
  2. Author’s name, affiliation, address, e-mail and telephone number.
  3. Abstract in English and Spanish (maximum 150 words) and a list of key words.
  4. Maximum length: 4 pages (including references).
  5. Select “Projects and Demos” as the main topic.
